Christmas 2009

We are home from our trip to Georgia for Christmas. It was a good Christmas. Got to spend time with the family and ate too much. We also got to take a trip to the new Infantry Museum. Below are some pics from the visit...

Snow in Houston!!

Well, it really happened. Friday, we got to school and it snowed! By the time we got out for the day, it had all melted. Basically, it was a wasted day because the kids were too excited to really focus on anything but the white stuff outside. I can honestly say that the snow did not excite me one bit. It was funny to see grown adults so excited about snow. Seriously, how exciting is snow?? It is the reason I love Houston...it doesn't snow or get miserably cold. So, I am glad the snow is gone and that we will be back to our normal Houston weather. It has also reinforced my desire to never live anywhere else. Texas is it!
