Blake trying to be taller than me. He actually is just about there...I had big shoes on. He thinks that is cheating on my part.This is video from the Football Band Concert a couple of weeks ago. They played at the football game and then that night for the parents. They played "fun" music. This is just one of their songs. I missed getting video of the trumpet solo in another song. We didn't have a very good seat!
Last Wednesday was the last cross country meet. I will have to sort through to find a picture. The battery in the camera was not charged fully and after 3 false starts to the boys' race, the camera died! The 7th grade boys came in 3rd for the district.
This is from this Wednesday's meet. Blake came in 21st. They have about 100 kids running each time. He has steadily improved each meet coming in at 55, 44, 37, and now 21. Next week is their district meet which is the final meet. I didn't time him this time but he has been running 2 miles in just under 14:30. Maybe he will find out his time today. I wish I knew how to post this with a close up of these boys' faces because their expressions are funny!
